El's Rubbish Removal Services is a paid convenience service.  What we offer you is the convenience of having your junk picked up from your home so that you don't have to lift a finger or worry about having to wait weeks at a time to get your junk removed by the county - if at all.  Our price includes our labor for removing your junk from wherever they are located in your home, loading them onto our trailer, and sweeping the area when we are done.  We also have to pay disposal or recycling fees, per load, to the transfer station in Harrodsburg.  We believe our prices are competitive for the professional and valuable service we provide our customers. 

El's Rubbish junk removal fees are based on several factors, the biggest of which are: the amount of cubic space your items take up in our trailer and the local disposal and recycling fees charged by Harrodsburg.  We break it down as follows: a minimum load of $99 (for anything more than 1 item but less than a 1/4 load),  ¼ of a load, ½ of a load, or a full trailer load.  For materials that have a heavy cubic weight like dirt, concrete, bricks and gravel, our pricing is based on the total volume that the material takes up in the trailer, up to a maximum of one foot in height for a full trailer. 

As stated above, we are unable to provide an exact price over the phone because we typically price based on how much space your items take up in the trailer.  We need to see the items in person before we can give you an exact price. For some single item removals, we can give you an estimated price before the appointment, but the final price will always be given onsite. The best way to get a price is to book a free, no-obligation onsite estimate with us.   

Yes we can.  As long as the items being removed are easily accessible by our team. If they are easily accessible, we can accommodate your request and take payment over the phone once we are done with the job.     

 Yes, we are happy to provide our customers with a no contact junk removal option if that is their preference. Our "No Contact" junk removal service allows us to remove items without direct contact to ensure the comfort and safety of our customers and our team.  Please make your "No Contact" junk removal request known when booking your appointment and we will take care of you.   

Due to the differences in municipal regulations from County to County, we can only accept paint cans that have fully dried.  If you have paint that you need to get rid of, give us a call and we’ll let you know if your location can take it.  

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept a mattress that is waterlogged because this severely affects weight and disposal fees at the transfer station. Once your mattress has completely dried, you can contact us and we will be happy to provide our junk removal services.    

 For the protection of all our customers, we are unable to accept mattresses, box springs or other items with active bed bug infestations. In order for us to remove a mattress that previously had bed bugs, we will require a certificate from a professional exterminator stating the bed bugs have been successfully eliminated.  

All junk removal services require a 50% deposit with the balance being paid after we complete the job.  We accept cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, Cash App  and major credit cards.
